The internship program offers a hands-on experience for LAUSD “Rising Seniors” interested in learning about the various careers in public education. Students will have the opportunity to intern at various district offices (Beaudry or Regional) or at a summer learning program. Students will understand the many Los Angeles Unified School District career paths and earn while they learn.
Qualifications:
· Applicants must be Rising Seniors (entering the 12th grade in the Fall)
· Eligible to apply for a work permit
· Able to commit 20–30 hours per week (June, 17, 2024 – August 9, 2024)
We are looking for students with a strong work ethic, a passion for learning, who like to take on new challenges, and who are interested in public education and serving the community.
A limited number of intern positions are available and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
