On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, Roosevelt High School is providing all students grades 9th-11th the opportunity to take the PSAT Digital Exam. The purpose of the test is to give all students an experience taking a college readiness test. Juniors with high scores have the opportunity to enter the National Merit Scholarship Program (NMSC). Even if your child has not yet decided to attend college, I urge you to strongly encourage them to do their best on this assessment. Please encourage your child to get a good night’s rest the night before the exam, eat a healthy breakfast, and be at school on time for the test day. Students that show up late to the exam will not have the opportunity to be tested. Also, please ensure your child’s Chromebook is fully charged.
El martes 22 de octubre de 2024, Roosevelt High School brindará a todos los estudiantes de los grados 9 a 11 la oportunidad de realizar el examen digital PSAT. El propósito de la prueba es brindarles a todos los estudiantes la experiencia de tomar una prueba de preparación universitaria. Los jóvenes con puntajes altos tienen la oportunidad de ingresar al Programa Nacional de Becas al Mérito (NMSC). Incluso si su hijo/a aún no ha decidido asistir a la universidad, le insto a que lo anime encarecidamente a hacer lo mejor que pueda en esta evaluación. Anime a su hijo/a a que descanse bien la noche anterior al examen, coma un desayuno saludable y llegue a la escuela a tiempo para el día del examen. Los estudiantes que lleguen tarde al examen no tendrán la oportunidad de tomar la prueba. Además, asegúrese de que el Chromebook de su hijo esté completamente cargado.
