Roosevelt High School Launches "No Place for Hate" Campaign

The Roosevelt High School community has launched the "No Place for Hate" initiative, encouraging everyone on campus to pledge to be allies against hate and discrimination. The campaign's key message, “RHS is No Place For Hate,” emphasizes unity and action. By taking the pledge, members commit to rejecting negative language and behavior based on age, race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, ability, or any other factor. The initiative calls for active bystander intervention, urging everyone to speak up and take responsibility for creating a respectful, inclusive, and loving school environment.

The campaign materials include a QR code and a link directing students and community members to take the allyship pledge online. The pledge affirms a commitment to stand up against hateful actions, make positive changes, and uphold a culture where every individual feels safe and valued. By participating, students declare, “NOT IN MY SCHOOL!” and take a stand for love and acceptance.

The school invites everyone to support this essential initiative and contribute to making Roosevelt High a model of inclusivity and respect.
