- Drill/Dance Team Wins Big! – Our talented team placed first and fourth at the Glendale Games on March 8! Their dedication and hard work have paid off—congratulations, Riders!
- SRLA Runners Conquer the LA Marathon! – A huge round of applause to our Students Run LA (SRLA) team for completing the Los Angeles Marathon this weekend. Their perseverance and commitment are truly inspiring!
- Roosevelt Robotics FRC4964 Competes at Regionals! – Our Robotics team made an impressive showing at the LA Regional Competition this weekend, showcasing their technical skills and teamwork.
- Mariachi Olimpico Hosts LAUSD Mariachi Festival! – Led by Mr. Yanez, our Mariachi Olimpico hosted the LAUSD Mariachi Festival in our brand-new Performing Arts Center, bringing the community together through music!

- Lucky Spirit Week – Show your school spirit with fun dress-up days and activities!
- LSLC Meeting (Monday, 11:30 AM) – Parents are encouraged to attend the Local School Leadership Council meeting in the A-Building Conference Room.
- Social Worker Block Party (Wednesday, 11:00 AM - 12:52 PM, Big Gym) – Join us in recognizing the important work of school social workers!
- SAT School Day (Thursday) – All 11th-grade students will take the SAT during school hours.
- Coffee with the Principal (Thursday, 10:00 AM, Parent Center) – Parents, come join us for an update on school events and initiatives!
- March Madness – Basketball fun throughout the week!

📌 FAFSA Deadline: Seniors, don’t miss out! Visit the College Center this week for help submitting your FAFSA.
đź“Ś Phone-Free Policy: All students must place their phones, AirPods, and smartwatches in their pouches upon arrival. If a student is seen with a phone out, it will be confiscated, and a parent must pick it up.
📌 Parent Workshop (Monday): Learn how to access your student’s i-Ready test results through the Parent Portal. The session will be held in the Parent Center.
📌 Quarter 3 Grades: This is the final week before grades are due on Friday—students, make sure to check in with your teachers!
