WASC Visiting Committee Issues Glowing Mid‑Cycle Report After April 30 Virtual Visit

Roosevelt High School is proud to share the WASC Visiting Committee Mid‑Cycle Progress Report, produced after the committee’s virtual accreditation visit on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Over the course of the day, committee members met with students, staff, families, and community partners; observed classes in real time; and reviewed evidence of progress since our 2022 self‑study.

Student Achievement * Math Smarter Balanced “Met/Exceeded” rates up 13 percentage points over two years.
* ELA proficiency rebounded to pre‑pandemic levels.
College & Career Readiness * Graduation rate climbed to 95.9 %.
* AP enrollment more than doubled, and AP pass rate improved.
Pathway Expansion * Academy of Music & Digital Production now serves grades 9–12.
* Greater access to internships through Linked Learning and industry partners.
Campus Modernization * New performing‑arts center opened in August 2024.
* Athletic‑field reconstruction on track for Summer 2025 completion of Football and Track Stadium.
