Special bell schedule will guide 9th‑ & 10th‑grade testing across four day
May is a marathon of exams at Roosevelt—between AP, SBAC, and now the i‑Ready End‑of‑Year (EOY) diagnostics. Beginning Wednesday, May 21, all 9th‑ and 10th‑grade students will complete their i‑Ready tests during one extended class period each day, while the rest of the schedule runs slightly shorter blocks to keep instruction balanced.
Date | Testing Period | Testing Block |
---|---|---|
Wed • May 21 | Period 1 | 10:08 – 11:29 a.m. |
Thu • May 22 | Period 2 | 10:08 – 11:29 a.m. |

Why It Matters
The i‑Ready diagnostic helps teachers pinpoint each student’s growth in reading and mathematics and tailor supports for next fall. By condensing testing into four targeted blocks, we maintain instructional momentum while giving students the focused time they need to do their best.
What Students Need to Know
-
Bring a fully‑charged Chromebook and your charger each testing day.
-
Arrive on time. The testing block begins promptly; late arrivals lose valuable minutes.
-
Do your best—EOY scores set next year’s learning path.
Family & Staff Reminders
-
Attendance is critical; please avoid scheduling appointments during testing blocks.
-
Teachers will review room assignments and login procedures with students in advance.
-
Results will be shared with students and families once district reports are released in early June.
