Roosevelt High School is proud to offer the Linked Learning Summer Bridge 2025 program, designed to welcome and support incoming 9th grade students as they begin their high school journey. The two-week program provides a dynamic introduction to the school’s Linked Learning pathways—offering a blend of academic exploration, career-connected learning, and mentorship.
During Summer Bridge, students will work on a real-world project aligned with their chosen pathway, engage with professionals through field trips and guest speakers, and build meaningful relationships with peers and mentors. Upperclassmen will serve as paid interns, guiding and encouraging incoming students as role models and near-peer mentors.
Principal Ben Gertner shared, “Summer Bridge helps students build confidence, feel connected to their school, and see the real-world relevance of what they’ll be learning. It’s one of the most important things we do to ensure a strong transition into high school.”
