Greetings Rough Rider parents and guardians,
LAUSD’s Summer of Learning 2025 is almost here, and there’s still time to secure a spot for your student! From June 17 to July 16, Roosevelt will host a variety of no-cost programs designed to keep students engaged, supported, and on track for the new school year.
Programs Offered

8th Grade “Rising Freshman Success” – a bridge program that builds high-school readiness in English and math while introducing students to Roosevelt culture and expectations.

Extended School Year (ESY) – specialized instruction and services for eligible students with IEPs.

Senior High Credit Recovery & Enrichment – core-subject courses and electives that help students make up credits, strengthen transcripts, or explore new interests.

Online: Visit lausd.org/summeroflearning and complete the quick digital application.

In Person: Stop by the Main Office to pick up and submit a paper application.
