About Zones of Choice/Sobre las Zonas de Opción

The Los Angeles Unified School District’s vision is that every student will receive a quality education in a safe, caring environment, and every high school graduate will be college prepared and career-ready. Zones of Choice has emerged as a strategy to increase the number of personalized educational options available to students. Zones of Choice are geographic areas comprised of multiple high school options. The small school options in each Zone are open to all resident students and represent the demographics of the local area. All school options offer college preparatory curriculum, A-G standards-based instruction, and preparation for college and careers.
